The coastlines offer dozens of quality beaches within easy reach ranging from small, secluded coves to popular resorts offering a wide range of watersports, boat trips and fishing.
The Snowdonia National Park provides the opportunity to tackle walks tracks of all levels with the ultimate being the journey to the summit of Snowdon, which (thank goodness) is also accessable via the Mountain Railway at Llanberis.
This area of North West Wales is rich in history and boasts four World Heritage Sites at Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech and Conwy as well as smaller, but no less interesting, castles, historic houses and monuments.
Local attractions are numerous and varied and include the Welsh Highland Railways, the National Slate Museum, Electric Mountain and Portmeirion. Our closeness to Holyhead also makes day trips to Dublin a reality.
Wales was recently voted "Undiscoverd Golf Destination of the Year" and with 18 courses within 30 miles of Rhiwafallen including Royal St. Davids at Harlech and little known gems such as Nefyn and Caernarfon, it is easy to see how this reputation has been born.
